As one of the most popular compact sedans in America, it’s no secret to anyone that the Sentra is spacious and fuel-efficient. However, how does its iconic versatility extend across its entire lineup of trim levels? That’s the question we hope to answer with this 2015 Nissan Sentra Trim Comparison, showcasing the top three available entries of our legendary compact. (The model lineup of course begins with the S trim, which is also available at Robbins Nissan.)
In looking at the three trims shown here, it’s important to note that each has an identical powertrain: a 1.8L four-cylinder engine mated to the popular Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This power platform returns outstanding fuel efficiency numbers in addition to its composed ride, returning 39 highway mpg along with 130 horsepower.
Once inside the Sentra SV, buyers are greeted by an interior cabin that is exceptionally comfortable and spacious. Up to five adult occupants have room to spare, while the Nissan Intelligent Key makes entrance easier than ever. Meanwhile, the SV offers Push Button Ignition, while the NissanConnect with Mobile Apps interface features a 5-inch display to easily stream music or access navigation.
At the top of the 2015 Nissan Sentra lineup lie two trims that take differing approaches in their quests to please Houston-area drivers. On the one hand, we have the SR, which features the sportier styling of the two. The SR boasts bolder design elements, including premium performance cloth upholstery, front and rear fascias and lower body skirting, as well as foglights and a rear spoiler. It also adds rear disc brakes and 17-inch alloy wheels, while heated ouside mirrors and LED turn signals accentuate the SR’s exterior.
Those desiring more luxury in their Sentra might be more drawn to the Sentra SL. The SL boasts many of the same equipment upgrades as the SR: rear disc brakes, 17-inch wheels, heated exterior mirrors and LED turn signals are found on this trim as well. Once inside the SL, however, buyers are greeted with leather-appointed seating, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and simulated woodgrain interior accents.
So, which trim level of the 2015 Nissan Sentra best meets your needs? Do you enjoy a down-the-middle, functional option; a sportier, more vibrantly-styled model; or a sophisticated, leather-adorned selection? Because, in the Sentra SV, SR and SL trims, buyers have their choice between the three. Visit Robbins Nissan today to learn more!
