Nissan Armada Mountain Patrol

What is the Nissan Armada “Mountain Patrol” vehicle?

The newest addition to the growing Nissan legend is perhaps one of the most unprecedented in recent memory. Its “Mountain Patrol” concept, debuted at Overland Expo WEST recently, was completely designed by fans of the Nissan brand through social media, and in our eyes, it’s one of the coolest things we’ve ever seen. Check out some of its features and design cues with us today!

Since it has been built on the Armada’s platform, the Nissan Mountain Patrol features the same 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine that you’ve come to expect from other vehicles in the Nissan family. It’s still worth mentioning, however, as it can produce up to 390 horsepower and handle a maximum towing capacity of 8,500 pounds!

Nissan Mountain Patrol new design and features

The Mountain Patrol is, as its designers have coined, a true “overlanding” vehicle, with a roof-mounted camping tent, heavy-duty coil suspension, and 17-inch Icon Rebound wheels. This allows it to tear through any terrain that might stand in your way, and there’s also plenty that lies inside to give you all the space you need for your belongings.

The Mountain Patrol’s cargo capability is supplemented by its Rhino Racks back-bone pioneer tray, as well as an ARB pull-out drawer system. That’s not all; it also offers a refrigerator and cooler inside, making this a true camping-ready model.
