Things to Do for Father’s Day 2018 near Houston TX

We’ve all seen the memes and heard the jokes about dads only being concerned with building decks, keeping the thermostat consistent, test clicking grill tongs and hoping their New Balances stay clean after a few hours of mowing the lawn. Still, it can’t be understated how much impact a father has on his son’s or daughter’s life, from childhood all the way up to becoming a young adult and beyond. We know you want to treat dad with the kind of love he deserves on June 17, so our Robbins Nissan team has put together a list of some fun things to do for Father’s Day 2018 near Houston TX. Enjoy!

Car Show @ The Way Church

Every dad loves his classic car, and so do we! That’s why we’re so excited for The Way Church’s Father’s Day Car Show. Coffee, donuts and hot dogs will all be available to drink and snack on, and while you’re checking out the rides, the kids can play some great field games; it’s sure to be fun for everyone!

City Acre Brewing Father’s Day Barbecue

City Acre Brewing is famous not only for its selection of beers, but also for having some of the best barbecue this side of the Mississippi. You and dad are invited to come try their famous barbecue split plate, coleslaw, potato salad and more on an afternoon he’s sure to remember for years to come!

Father’s Day Fried Chicken Dinner

If fried chicken is more up dad’s alley, take him to Revival Market in Houston for an awesome three-piece meal, complete with corn salad, cornbread and seasonal cobbler. Plus, Spindletap will have their beers on tap, and the Will Van Horn Trio will be providing live entertainment!

Father Daughter Dance

As the old saying goes, a daughter’s first love is her father, a statement that the Buffalo Soldiers Museum aims to reinforce. The museum will be hosting a Daddy-Daughter Dance on June 16, and it’s sure to be a memorable bonding experience for both!
