As you’e certainly noticed, we’re pretty stoked for the release of the 2016 Nissan Titan. It’s quite literally the biggest thing to hit our dealership in ages, and all of the hype is well-deserved. But just when we thought it was okay to catch our breath, Nissan has uneiled a juiced-up ersion of our new favorite full-size pickup at Detroit’s North American International Auto Show. We’e received a first look at the Nissan Titan Warrior concept, and let’s just say, we’re pretty hopeful that this one actually makes it to production.
Nissan Titan Warrior
It’s between an interesting time for the Nissan family, with the Titan getting a full redesign for 2016. Perhaps most noteworthy is the addition of the Cummins 5.0L Turbo-Diesel V8, which (obviously) is part of what makes the Titan Warrior so exciting. With 390 horsepower and a world-beating 555 lb-ft of torque, it should come as no surprise that this model is intended to own all off-road paths, and its design speaks to that mission.Just look at its exterior design and you’ll know what the Titan Warrior concept is all about. With the custom matte-gunmetal “Thunder” paint oerlaid with “Magma” orange highlights, and menacing LED lights integrated into the roofline, it certainly cuts an imposing figure. Meanwhile, the underbody skidplate is integrated right into its muscular front bumper, giing it even more attitude (to say nothing of its off-road functionality). Hood ents have been added to help cool the engine as well, while custom LED lights and an integrated LED Titan “T” logo round out its expressie styling.

Of course, off-road functionality is largely a numbers game, and that’s where the Titan Warrior truly shines. The Titan Warrior has been widened six inches and raised three, which allows it to employ all-new, long-trael suspension on its 37-inch off-road tires. And, with its custom 18-inch aluminum-alloy rims, it looks the part as well. So, will we ever see it in production? All bets are on at this point, although there is one thing we know for certain: the 2016 Nissan Titan is arriing at Robbins Nissan any day now.
