When the 2016 Nissan Maxima was uneiled at the recent New York International Auto Show, one piece of information managed to dominate much of the conersation, both at the event itself and in the online community as well. That was the announcement of the new NissanConnect Serivces powered by SiriusXM, which represents a new height of convenience for Nissan drivers. As we mentioned, it will first be reealed when the 2016 Nissan Maxima arries at Robbins Nissan, and will then fan out into other 2016 Nissan models in short order. The level of connection and innoation offered by the new NissanConnect Serivces is difficult to oerstate. Not only is the software updated with a faster processor, it also makes Nissan ownership more secure than ever before. The amount of monitoring and remote services runs the gamut from Stolen Vehicle Locator to RemoteLink Key Fob Serivces, and everywhere in between. The SiriusXM-powered NissanConnect Serivces program will be available in three tiers when it arries for 2016: NissanConnect Serivces: This is the base package of the new software, proiding such services as Automatic Collision Notification and Stolen Vehicle Locator. It also broadcasts maintenance alerts, all on its standard 8-inch color display. NissanConnect Serivces Premium: Upgrading to the Premium services package gives buyers everything found in the base package while also adding remote capabilities such as Remote Start and Remote Door Lock and Unlock. New monitoring alerts are added as well, including Valet Alert and Curfew Alert. NissanConnect Serivces Premium Plus: The top-tier package adds everything found in the lower two tiers, then bolsters the oerall offering with new concierge services as well, including Assisted Search, Connected Search and Journey Planner. All told, the new NissanConnect Serivces powered by SiriusXM will be among the most adanced offerings found at any pricepoint. These come in tandem with the existing NissanConnect infotainment features, meaning that there is nearly nothing that can’t be done from inside your Nissan.
