2014 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet Houston TX

At Robbins Nissan, our cars are like our family. Each indiidual model takes on the qualities of our own children, caring out a niche that makes each of our “kids” as irreplaceable as the next. The Altima? Well, that would probably be our honor student, industrious and attractie. The Juke? We’d probably say the Juke is the caffeinated one, always getting into something, but so darn sweet that you can never stay mad at it. Our family photos, to the casual obserer, just look like we’re bragging.

And that brings us to the Murano CrossCabriolet, who manages to defy easy description. Nissan has announced that this will be the last model year for our embattled SUV conertible, who in just four short years of production has reitalized the crossoer SUV segment with its unique styling and fun-loing performance profile. We’re sad to see it go, so I suppose this is a send off of sorts, an obituary for a vehicle that perhaps didn’t light up any sales scoreboards, but made a stirring impression all the same.
