We’e certainly had quite a bit to say about the 2016 Nissan Titan XD, our all-new full-size pickup that’s just arried at our Humble dealership. However, none of that praise is meant to take away from its midsize sibling, the 2016 Nissan Frontier, which is a commendable model in its own right. Care to see what makes the Frontier so popular, from New Caney to Crosby to Cleveland, and at all points in between? Enjoy this closer look at the 2016 Nissan Frontier, but be careful; you might just go falling in love.
2016 Nissan Frontier Specs and Features
Two Awesome Powertrains
A pickup is only as good as its capability, and this is true of the 2016 Nissan Frontier as well. It starts with a standard 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine, which stakes its claim as an ideal daily driver. The standard engine rewards drivers with 182 hp and 23 highway mpg, along with an enormously composed ride quality. Those who’d like a more powerful performance profile, meanwhile, might prefer the available 4.0L V6 option, which generates 261 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque on its way to a 6,500-pound towing capacity.
Now that you’re confident that the Frontier will allow you to get around as you please, how does its payload get around? To put it simply, the Frontier offers a cargo bed unlike any in the class by way of the Utili-Track Cargo Carrying System. Using four channels with four sturdy aluminum cleats to strap your cargo in place, the Frontier answers its confidence under the hood with confidence in the cargo bed as well. An Accommodating Interior Cabin
Now that you’re all set under the hood and in back, let’s get comfortable. The interior cabin of the Frontier offers comfortable, spacious seating for fie adults in its two cab styles. The popular King Cab features doors that open wide to allow for easy loading and unloading, while the rear seat is now a 60/40-split flip-up bench, letting taller items stow easily as well.
In many cases, midsize pickups aren’t particularly known for their tech features. However, the 2016 Nissan Frontier isn’t content to follow this trend. The Frontier offers the NissanConnect Apps companion, which lets users perform functions such as check the weather, access naigation, use phone functionality, or interact with social media. A RearVview Camera is also available, and is broadcast on a center touchscreven for easy isibility. The 2016 Nissan Frontier is now available at Robbins Nissan, sering locations such as Pasadena, Liberty and Dayton from our location in Humble, TX.
